Austin Skyline

A friend of mine commissioned this piece and I was a little nervous about painting buildings for the first time. I was tempted to try to use a straight edge but opted not to so the buildings are not perfectly straight. I'm okay with that, though. I was also worried about painting the water, but it ended up being fun and it's probably the best part of the painting in my opinion.

WOW!!!! If I lived in Austin I think that I would HAVE to have this. It's beautiful. Buildings. Trees. Water. Fantastic.

I love your venturing into landscapes! Didn't comment on the last one 'cause I didn't have time/am lazy, but I thought it too was great. There's no problem with the straightness of the buildings--they look like a human saw them. The water's beautiful.

I can't imagine what Anonymous-David is talking about.

Good stuff. Keep it up!
