Cold

David Ohlerking is having another self-portrait show at the Austin Figurative Gallery and I want to be in it. The first one was a blast. There was a huge turnout and it was so much fun matching the artists with their portraits. I also feel sort of sentimental about it since that show inspired me to try doing a portrait, even though I was quite certain I would be awful at it and hate doing it. Here I am a few months later with a little portrait career and loving it. Goes to show, you don't know yourself as much as you think you might...

I really love this one. I like the detail on the sweater and the scarf. And I think you did a great job on the hands as well. You go, girl!

Great color and drawing. Adorable expression! Great job. Has that show happened yet? You should be in it. ;-)

I love this one. It looks like your spirit, even if you don't think it looks physically like you. :-)
